The materials used in this Bokoo Cover have been found to exceed both regulatory and voluntary limits of known hazardous chemicals and contain no relative measure of concern for a health risk or chemical exposure.  There are many regulatory restrictions and voluntary limits set by industry associations and third-party environmental certification organizations for numerous chemical compounds due to their toxicity, persistence, and tendency to build up in people and the environment.  Bokoo Covers completed extensive lab tests on these chemicals containing the elements bromine, chlorine, and lead, as well as other heavy metals, allergens and carcinogens*.  All tests were done by a third-party certification lab.
